Gabriel is an illustrator, author, and designer who makes pictures books informed by his time working in preschools and in publishing.

 

He likes to draw things that look like wooden toys, wooden toys that look like things, and kids yelling.

From 2001-2014 you could find him walking around a suburb outside Chicago at dusk,

and then he went to RISD,

and now he's walking around NYC.
